How to Create Private Nameservers in Google?

Google is a widely recognized provider of internet and hosting solutions. A key feature for users is the ability to establish private nameservers through Google Domains.

Steps to Create Private Nameservers in Google Domains

1. Begin by navigating to Google Domains and logging in with your Google account credentials.

2. Access the Main Menu. This is typically done by clicking the three-bar icon located in the top left corner of the Google Domains interface.

3. From the menu, choose the My domains option to view your registered domains.

4. For the domain you wish to configure, click on the Manage button. This will open the management page for that specific domain.

5. In the side menu, locate and click the DNS option. This will take you to the domain’s DNS settings.

6. Scroll down to the Registered Hosts section. Here, input your desired nameserver prefix in the ‘host name’ field (e.g., ns1, ns2).

7. In the IPV4 address field, enter the IP address that the nameserver will point to. If you also need to add an IPv6 address, click on Add an IPV6 address and enter the corresponding IPV6 address.

8. Click the Add button to save the newly created nameserver host.

Upon completion, Google Domains will register and display the new nameserver in the Registered Hosts list for your domain.
